These aspects of the essay are evaluated: - Structure and size of the essay: the structure of the essay is clear and logical, all the required parts are there (introduction, introducing the topic, goals, tasks, methods, empirical sources, main part, where the analysis and interpretation of the empirical sources takes place and the conclusion), the essay is of adequate size. - Analysis and conclusion: the analysis is very thorough, conclusions are proven and reasonable, formed based on the empirical sources (2 points), if the analysis is not very thorough or detailed, conclusions are not always reasonable 1 point is awardes. No points are awarded for a superficial analysis. - Scientific style and culture of research: the sources and citations are handled appropriately; form and style are consistent with the requirements of an academic paper. The grade for not giving the essay is 0 points.

The test is comprised of 50 open style questions (of different difficulties, from understanding to evaluating), each one valued at 1 point. The evaluation is as follows: 5: Great knowledge and abilities. Level of evaluation. 45-50 correct answers. 4: Good knowledge and abilities, may have some insubstansial mistakes. Level of synthesis. 35-44 correct answers. 3: Average knowledge and abilities, contains mistakes. Level of analysis. 25-34 correct answers. 2: Level of knowledge and abilities is below average, cointains (major) mistakes. Level of applying knowledge. 15-24 correct answers. 1: Level of knowledge and abilities still qualifies minimum requirements. Many mistakes. Level of understanging and knowledge. 5-14 correct answers. 0: Does not qualify minimum
