Purpose of the course unit

The subject is meant to teach students to understand psychological processes happening in an organization (team) in communication among employees, employees and eomployers, employees and managers, employees and clients as well as partners... It is also meant to teach students to understand psychological processes that determine their motivation, activity results and ability to join in to common organizational work. It is also meant for student to be able not only to understand it, but also to use knowledge of psychology in practice, his work both by communicating with the team and organizing his own activities.

Assessment methods

Students have to be able to notice and evaluate their current attitudes, habits and stereotype models of behavior and thinking of their coleagues. They should also be able to find other alternative ways of thinking and behavior and to try to apply those by choosing the best variant for each situation.

Lecturing. Group discussion. Practical tasks. Role based games. Distribution of independent tasks.

Evaluation of work in auditoriums. Evaluation of presentations. Evaluation of written assignments.

Students have to be able to understand how a team is formed and know principles of work in a team. They also should be able to apply this knowledge while working in a group. Students should be able to explain psychological regularities of taking up management and responsibility; how these are connected to personality type, style of thinking, attitudes and habits, ability to motivate oneself.

Students have to be able to understand and know how to practically apply various methods to motivate themselves and other members of the team. They also have to acquire knowledge about educational management, know how to stimulate creativity and critical thinking and learn how to unclose anybody‘s potential.

Students have to acquire knowledge how personality features, way of thinking, attitudes, habits and other psychological factors influence enerprise and organizational abilities. They also should be able to use this knowledge in practical work, planning of their work and career, likewise selecting new employees.
